After a contract conflict that extended into training camp, the Minnesota Vikings and pass-rusher Danielle Hunter have agreed to a new one-year deal that can be worth up to $20 million, a source confirmed to ESPN on Sunday.

Hunter will receive $17 million guaranteed, the source said. Hunter can earn $3 million in sack incentives, and the new agreement prohibits the Vikings from using the franchise or transition tag on him next season, a source confirmed.

The New York Giants have signed left tackle Andrew Thomas to a five-year, $117.5 million contract extension.

Agent John Thornton told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Thomas' deal includes $67 million fully guaranteed at signing, a record for an offensive lineman.

The No. 4 overall selection in the 2020 draft, Thomas has appeared in 45 games, including 44 starts, over the last three seasons with the Giants.

The Houston Texans have agreed to a three-year, $56 million extension with offensive tackle Tytus Howard, according to a source.

The agreement includes $36.5 million guaranteed.

Howard, a first-round pick of the Texans in 2019 out of Alabama State, has started 54 games for Houston over the past four seasons. 

The Los Angeles Chargers and quarterback Justin Herbert have agreed to terms on a five-year, $262.5 million contract extension, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal comes a day before the Bolts open training camp and keeps Herbert, 25, under contract in L.A. through the 2029 season.

The deal includes $133.7 million fully guaranteed, $193.7 million with an injury guarantee and jumping potentially to $218.7 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN.

The team announced a multiyear extension for their franchise quarterback but did not disclose specific terms.

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to a three-year contract extension with edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu.

The extension is worth up to $59 million that includes $32 million guaranteed.

The Seahawks signed Nwosu to a two-year, $19 million deal in March of 2022 when he was an unrestricted free agent. 

The New York Giants and Saquon Barkley have agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $11 million, according to sources.

The deal also includes a $2 million signing bonus.

Barkley's new deal is worth $10.1 million fully guaranteed, including the signing bonus. The $1 million in incentives includes an equal amount paid for 1,300 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns and 65 receptions.

The deal does not include a "no franchise tag" clause, according to sources, meaning the Giants can tag him again after this season.

The Giants and Barkley did not agree to a deal before the deadline for franchised players to agree to long-term contracts, meaning he would have had to play this season under the $10.091 million franchise tender.

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent cornerback Marcus Peters, a source confirmed to ESPN on Monday.

Peters, 30, is a three-time Pro Bowl player who was a free agent for the first time after his least productive NFL season. After missing all of the 2021 season with a torn ACL, Peters wasn't the same defensive playmaker last season for the Baltimore Ravens, recording a career-low one interception.

Tight end Evan Engram and the Jacksonville Jaguars reached agreement on a three-year contract, agent Mike McCartney announced Sunday.

McCartney did not disclose terms, but a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Engram's deal is worth $41.25 million and includes $24 million fully guaranteed.
